  As a believer in full disclosure I must admit that I make great soup at home. Onion and chicken soups are my favorites. With those as a basis for great soup I went to 2 Chef's for soup. They also make full meals. And they are made from scratch! I learned this when I asked about the Fried Chicken Dinner and was told by the young women working the "soup bar" that since they were not allowed to cook, could I wait a few minutes until the chef comes back. I then asked if the dinners were prepared ahead of time and was assured that ALL meals were made from scratch and FRESH. OK, twist my arm, I'll have soup. A pint of wonderfully flavorful oniony broth filled the container. With just the right amount of onions, in a beefy base, this was, I am sorry to say better than mine. Darn them! The Roasted Chicken, pieces of roasted and shedded chicken, onions, carrots and celery in a strong yet smooth broth was just perfect. If the Soup Nazi is still working, it is time to hang up his ladle. Long live the 2 Chefs Souparee.

  This is one of our absolutely favorite places!
  No one makes soup like Tom and his dinners are the best deal around. A cross between haute cuisine and home cookin'. I have never had anything but an exceptional meal there!!!
  His soup bar always has at least 10 - 15 soups and you can taste test them all. What a great concept!
  You MUST try it!!!

  I probably would never have stopped in for dinner at this strip mall restaurant if not for SouthFloridaDines.com Thank you SouthFloridaDines! ! ! Everything here is made from scratch and everything we ordered was EXCELLENT. From the soup to the salad to the entrees I couldn't have gotten better from my own Mother. The salad dressing, the chocolate cake, my goodness I could go on forever but trust me, I will be back on a regular basis. This is one secret that needs to be tried by everyone.
  PS. the service was also excellent!

  Please, please try this small establishment. I had the she crab soub just for a carry out lunch and the whole grain bread and it was to DIE for. I can only imagine that the dinners are just as good!

  Thanks to South Florida Dines we found an awesome place for fabulous soup and sandwiches! We stopped by on Saturday (11/15) and immediately we were greeted warmly and received lots of help figuring out the menu and the types of soup. We were offered samples and with one taste my wife was hooked on the She Crab soup. It was delicious and so was the New England Clam Chowder. Both were full of seafood and in a nice thick, flavorful base. With the soup came homemade bread - Olive, Sun-dried Tomato or Multigrain. Between our soup, breads and sandwiches we tried them all and it would be hard to pick just one. Fresh and soft on the inside with just the right amount of crispy crust! I tried the Tuna Salad which I have to admit is the best I have had anywhere and my wife felt the same way about her Chicken Salad. Both sandwiches were served with a slice of dill pickle and homemade seasoned potato chips that were crunchy and had excellent flavor. The China Mist Iced Tea was refreshing and also freshly made. They have such a large variety of soups, sandwiches and meals that anyone could find something they would like. Their portions are large, prices extremely reasonable, and the service was fantastic. Another benefit was that they have outdoor seating so we could take our liitle dog with us and enjoy the fresh air while we enjoyed our meal. We can't wait to go back and try some other soups on the menu - perfect in any weather!

  Everything we've ordered and sampled has been out of this world. They even had Beer Cheese soup (my wife's favorite) and she says she has not had better. My only question is how can they put out this quality at such low prices. You can't find a better meal at any price. Super fast and friendly service, too.

  We have been to the restaurant several times and always enjoy the service and most importantly the soups.....Hard to make up your mind but they allow tasting which is great. Love their Butter nut squash soup....best ever. The only place I know of in this part of Florida that make Red Clam Chowder and yummy..

  Again, this wonderful place amazed us with their delicious soups and salads! We wanted to take our mom for a nice lunch for her 85th birthday and she loves soup. She had never been there and was overwhelmed with the choices. She settled on Butternut Squash and loved it. I had the Sherry Mushroom and it was fantastic. Another selection was the Split Pea which was thick and delicious. The special breads - Black Olive and Sun Dried Tomato were both fresh and soft inside with a perfect crusty outside and the homemade butter made it even better. We chose the special soup and 1/2 salad meal with a large bowl of soup and the salad was plentiful. We tried the Oriental Chicken Salad which had grilled chicken (lots) over a bed of spring greens, mandarin oranges, slivered almonds, chow mein noodles and a very good oriental dressing. Another selection was the Chicken Salad made to perfection with just the right amount of creamy mayo and tender chunks of chicken served on a bed of spring greens with walnuts, bananas, strawberries and cantaloupe around it. The China Mist Tea is refreshing and a nice compliment to any meal. The meal is a bargain for what you get (even without a SFD certificate) and we had to take home a to-go box there was so much food. We are so happy to have found it through SFD and continue to go back even without a SFD certificate. We highly recommend you try it...we have never been disappointed. They also serve dinner, but we have not been there for dinner yet. Plan to check it out as well. Jean

  More visits to 2 Chef's and more soups that please! We have made many trips to this great find and it gets better all the time. On Saturday, the soups we tried were Turkey Chili and Chicken Pot Pie. Not liking extremely spicy chili I was curious about theirs. Being able to taste your selection before you get the whole bowl is great. From the first taste I knew the Turkey Chili was for me. It was thick and meaty with just the right amount of spices to make it flavorful. The chicken pot pie soup was perfect for my wife who loves pot pies anyway. Full of chicken and veggies and thick enough to feel like a pie, she said it was perfect.
  
  With the soup we split a Club sandwich on fresh homemade multi grain bread and it was piled high with meats and cheese and served with a side of homemade potato chips that were crispy and seasoned just right. Back again on Tuesday, my wife and her friend (first time visitor) had the Loaded Potato soup with side salads. This soup was so thick it was just like eating a loaded baked potato with bacon, cheese, green onion, butter and sour cream on it. The chicken salad had big chunks of tender chicken with fruits on a bed of lettuce and the chicken oriental salad had a full grilled chicken breast with mandarin oranges, chow mein noodles and red onions on a bed of greens with a fruity oriental dressing. Both were yummy! Her friend is going to come back with her family all the way from Port St Lucie for the great soups.
  
  We continue to travel to this excellent restaurant and are so grateful to SFD for introducing us to it. One story we heard from another customer while there this week was that they wanted Oyster Stew which is not something they make at 2 Chef's normally, however, for this customer, they made it if he would get his oysters and bring them in. Now THAT is real Customer Service! The ALWAYS very friendly staff makes it a joy to walk into 2 Chefs Souparee and enjoy a fabulous meal.

  This is a little jewel! The She Crab soup is superb and the club sandwich can be shared by two. Worth the ride to have a delicious lunch.

  We discovered 2 Chefs Souparee while we lived in Lake Worth, FL. I have never tasted so many delicious soups in my life! We ate more soup in the year we lived in Lake Worth than we have in our entire lives. We liked every one I tried but without a doubt our favorites were the tomato basil and the butternut squash. The dinners were excellent as well, our favs were the chicken marsalla and the lasagna. The breads, especially the multi-grain is outstanding. As far as desserts the white coconut cake and chocolate cake were addicting. There is nothing like Tom's place on the west coast of Florida so enjoy this one-of-a-kind well kept secret. We wish Tom and his Mom only the BEST! If you ever start shipping soups, sign us up.

  OMG! It is well worth the trip. I had the French Onion with lots of great melted cheese, and a slice of their freshly baked Red Velvet cake. I also got soup to go. They are sooo friendly and give you samples to try what ever your little heart desires. The fresh baked bread was also yummy! I will be a regular now, even tho it is out of my way from Royal Palm.

  “Our Favorite Soup Place” was the destination for a birthday celebration. We love 2 Chef’s and today was superb as always. It was a beautiful day to dine outside, but they also have inside seating as well. I finally tried the Chicken Noodle and it was delicious…lots of huge chunks of carrots and celery, lots of shredded chicken and noodles in a tasty broth. Their olive bread is wonderful! Others had the Butternut Squash and Loaded Potato with the multigrain bread and sung their praises as well. Deciding against the combo meal to leave room for dessert this time, we all finished off with Cherry Cheesecake that was light and fluffy and full of cherries on top. Only problem with this place is there are TOO many choices of soup to choose from! Oh, such a good problem! We never can make up our mind even after sampling them. Keeps us coming back for more! We came from Palm City and Boynton Beach as it is that great…worth the trip! Everything is EXCELLENT!

  all i can say if you love soup , and great comfort food, then this is the place, his staff is the best there food is to die for. once you have had tom"s she crab soup,you will be hooked.but all his soups are great..meatloaf and mashed potatoes .rosemary chicken.oohlala... please visit it is worth the trip....

  Recently had a cold and wanted some chicken noodle soup. I decided to give this place a try and must say WOW!!! Have had the she crab, clam chowder, mushroom sherry, pepper and gouda, you name it! Friendly staff always offers a sample and the bread is delicious. Will be trying one of their meals main courses the next time I dine.
