Have you ever walked into a restaurant and felt instantly at home? So it is with Kirby's Neighborhood Grille & Bar. The vibe inside is decidedly laid back, with no stuffed shirts or dress codes to be found. It may sound cliché, but what you will find at Kirby's is that the regulars all know each other by name. The natives are friendly, so if it's your first visit, you might as well introduce yourself, because we're betting it won't be your last!
Kirby's has something for everyone - lots of televisions to follow sports of all kinds (if you're a Baltimore Ravens fan, THIS is your home during football season!), a great bar with the best bartenders in town, and live entertainment on certain nights. At some places, the food becomes secondary to drinks and fun, but that's NOT the case here... Kirby's menu features specialties like Steamed Shrimp with Old Bay, Chicken Quesadillas, and THE BEST, 100% Jumbo Lump Maryland Crab Cakes! Owner Sean Kirby is a Maryland native, so these crab cakes are the real deal.
If you're looking for more turf than surf, order the Kirby Burger ~ however you want it, that's how you'll get it! Get an order of Kirby's Potato Thingies. As the menu says… “Not a fry, and not a chip, but they taste so good, who gives a flip?!” Try them sand dune style, topped with melted cheesy yumminess. And, named for their mascot, the Ol' Goat Wings are smothered in a uniquely zesty sauce, and are the perfect compliment to an ice cold beer!

We went for a crabby night, starting with the crab dip and chips, very good, especially complimented by the perfectly chilled Blue Moon beers! Took the waitress reccomendation for the crab cake sandwich, and was the best I have ever had, and my husband's surf and turf burger gave the traditional burger new status. A definite must, fun and friendly atmosphere, will return without a doubt.

We went there on Friday night - I had heard their wings were great and my fiance is from Buffalo so he's really picky about chicken wings.
We got there at around 5 and there were 8 of us total. 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 babies. The waitress was awesome and she actually recognized us and our kids from the Thirsty Turtle. She gave us fantastic service. They had a special going that was a pitcher of Yeungling and 10 wings for $9.99. How can you beat THAT? Our party had wings, Buffalo style chicken tenders, Shrimp Jammers and the yummy homemade potato chip things they make. The kids both had clam strips and loved them.
I was impressed - we were out of there by 6:30 - way before anyone had time for a meltdown. The food was great, service was great - and our total bill was only $60 for 6 people eating AND drinking. We will definitely, definitely go back to this little hidden gem. Sometimes you just don't feel like getting dressed up!

This place is always good - but this time I tried their famous Crabcakes. They were the absolute BEST I've had in FLA!!! Tasty cold beer, great service & awesome Crab- whenever I'm feeling crabby - I'm going to Kirby's!!
