After a contest for a new name generated over 4000 entries, Lindsey Jackson of Ft. Pierce came up with the one that owner Danny Adkins loved the best. And as of April 2014, Dale's West is now Moonswiners Bar-B-Q! While the name has changed, nothing else has. Same family, same food. And the most amazing down home, finger-lickin'-good, real pit, hickory smoked BBQ in Ft. Pierce!
Moonswiners is the place to "get your swine on"! The creamy cole slaw is legendary, the tender pork literally melts in your mouth, and the Fried Onion Chips are addictive. All of the meats are swabbed with their secret signature barbeque sauce which seals in the natural juices, and then cooked for hours over an open hickory wood fire.

Best Darn Barbecue in the state of Florida! I have been going to this restaurant since 1984 when it was called Dale’s BBQ! I usually get the same thing every visit (Large Pork Barbecue with Steak Fries, Coleslaw, and Home Brewed Un-Sweet Tea. The other day I decided to sway from my usual so I ordered the 1/2 Barbecued Chicken Dinner with Steak Fries, Garlic Toast, and Barbecued Beans. And WoW! It was the Best Barbecue Chicken I have EVER had! Their own barbecue sauces are addictive! I even put it on my steak fries! And you have to try the Onion Chips! Come on in and take a number! So worth any wait! 5-Star Barbecue and Customer Service! Highly Recommend (by everyone in Saint Lucie County, FL)!?? ????
