Welcome to Thaikyo where diners find a delicious blend of refreshing Thai and Japanese flavors. The restaurant, at the beautiful Plaza del Mar in Manalapan, offers warm hospitality and is the perfect setting for an intimate dinner. A large sushi bar fills one corner and is a hot spot for lovers of Japanese delights. Watch the experts prepare sushi rolls and sashimi so artistic, you will want to take a picture before you indulge! If you prefer Thai, the menu is as diverse as the flavors.
The Thaikyo Special brings grilled jumbo shrimp and scallops in a green curry sauce served over rice noodles. Stay with the all-time classic, Pad Thai - served as spicy as you like. The Sun Sentinel rated Thaikyo as one of the best newcomers in Palm Beach County and restaurant critics agree. Thaikyo has all the ingredients for a long-term marriage with its guests. Great ambiance, excellent service, with a diverse menu filled with delicious, fresh ingredients. My husband & I dined there on a recent Saturday evening. We loved everything about it! The atmosphere - decor and music, the service and the food were all absolutely excellent. I actually stopped talking to eat - except for the 'mmm...mmm...mmm's.
We will definitely return soon!!

Hurray! The season has come to an end and we can now really enjoy these high end restaurants thanks to the SFD gift certificates. We ate there last night, and the chef was quite happy to alter almost every dish to please our palates. The miso soup was perfect, rolls were customized and great and the pad thai was delicious. A perfect asian/thai restaurant.

Since we have a subscription to Florida Stage Thaikyo has become our dining place every time we go, usually with a crowd of friends. Even though there is a couple who do not eat raw fish, they are so happy with the cooked food. Me, I'm a sushi lover and their sushi is fresh and delicious and creative. The service is always good and the restaurant has a "feel good" atmosphere. They try to please....

Although there are sushi restaurants closer, this is the best in the area. The waiters remember all the little nuances of an order and the chefs are more than happy to help you create your own rolls. Even the chicken and meat appetizers are delightful! We go here even without a certificate - it is that good!!
